Requires deep expertise in computer architecture, functional/performance simulation, and 5+ years of leadership experience.

About the role

NVIDIA has been transforming computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing for more than 25 years. It’s a unique legacy of innovation that’s fueled by great technology—and amazing people. Today, we’re tapping into the unlimited potential of AI to define the next era of computing. An era in which our GPU acts as the brains of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can understand the world. Doing what’s never been done before takes vision, innovation, and the world’s best talent. As an NVIDIAN, you’ll be immersed in a diverse, supportive environment where everyone is inspired to do their best work. Come join the team and see how you can make a lasting impact on the world.

NVIDIA is seeking outstanding management candidates who have deep expertise in architecture functional and performance simulation. They will lead GPU and SOC simulator platforms. They will also create next-generation platforms for our rapidly growing chips, systems, and application domains.

What you will be doing:

  • Be responsible for the simulation roadmap for NVIDIA's world-class SOC's across datacenter, automotive, and client products

  • Build and deliver platforms for SOC's that enable left shift for the SW teams aligned with project milestones.

  • Work closely with the SOC architects and guide modeling teams to deliver high-quality functional models that involve SOC+GPU use cases

  • Collaborate with our EDA partners to align on customer-facing technologies

  • Ensure alignment between the various modeling teams at NVIDIA, GPU modeling teams, and modeling teams overseas

  • Manage the simulation platform, mentor leads, and team members towards their career aspirations

What we need to see:

  • A master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related relevant field (or equivalent experience)

  • 12+ overall years of relevant work experience in computer architecture, including 5+ years of leadership/management experience.

  • Strong programming skills in C++, System C, with the ability to work hands-on to prototype, evaluate new ideas, and drive infrastructure improvements. Use AI tools to improve productivity.

  • Experience with functional simulation and virtual prototyping platforms

  • Knowledge of industry EDA tools for functional modeling.

  • Strong background in SOC and/or GPU system architecture.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 3, and 272,000 USD - 431,250 USD for Level 4.
