These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ProTechStack website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by ProTechStack ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate and current.
• Keep your password secure and confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3. Description of Service

ProTechStack provides:

• Curated Job Board — A platform for discovering vetted software developer job opportunities.
• AI Interview Preparation — AI-powered mock interview sessions including coding, system design, behavioral, and conceptual question types.
• Career Resources — Blog content, interview guides, and educational materials for software developers.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Free Tier

The free tier provides limited access to the Service, including the job board and a limited number of AI interview sessions per month.

4.2 Pro Subscription

The Pro subscription provides expanded access including unlimited AI sessions, all session types, job-anchored preparation, detailed evaluation reports, and additional features as described on our pricing page.

4.3 Billing

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly. Payment is processed through our third-party payment providers (Stripe and/or PayPal).
• Your subscription automatically renews each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes, which will be added where required by law.

4.4 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 14 days.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Service.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or similar technology to access the Service without our express written permission.
• Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content from the Service without authorization.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information to the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Share your account credentials with others or allow others to access your account.

6. AI-Generated Content

The AI interview preparation feature generates questions, evaluations, and feedback using artificial intelligence. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content is provided for educational and practice purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional career advice.
• AI-generated evaluations and scores are indicative, not definitive, and do not guarantee performance in actual interviews.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content.
• AI responses may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies. You should verify critical information independently.

7. Job Listings

• Job listings on ProTechStack are sourced from third-party employers and job boards. We curate and verify listings to the best of our ability but do not guarantee the accuracy, legitimacy, or availability of any job posting.
• ProTechStack is not an employment agency and is not a party to any employment relationship between you and any employer.
• We are not responsible for the hiring decisions, interview processes, or employment practices of any employer listed on the platform.

8. Intellectual Property

• The Service, including its design, code, content, graphics, logos, and trademarks, is owned by ProTechStack and protected by intellectual property laws.
• You retain ownership of any code or content you submit during interview sessions. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process and store it for the purpose of providing the Service.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable.
• Any defects in the Service will be corrected.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ProTechStack shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ProTechStack and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

• We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
• You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability) will survive.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation and, if necessary, binding arbitration.
