NVIDIA is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join the TSG Team, supporting software and hardware solutions for Embedded/Automotive product testing at board and system level, deployed into NVIDIA's contract manufacturing (CM) operations. As part of the TSG Team, we will co-work with different teams to spend efforts for software and Hardware solution support on Embedded/Automotive new feature test in board and system level which will be deployed into NVIDIA MFG CM.

What you will be doing:

  • Help design tools to automate product definitions, data collection, test case execution, and results analysis

  • Drive GPU diagnosis and analyze test issues at the embedded/automotive products level with hardware, software, and operations engineering teams.

  • Qualify equipment/fixture and tooling for NVIDIA MFG usage model

  • Data automation and tool generation. Co-work with CM to realize embedded/automotive product test automation. Study and develop cutting-edge techniques in deep learning, graphs, machine learning, and data analytics, and deploy AI for NVIDIA production automation

  • Assist, develop, and provide feedbacks on embedded/automotive products debug tools to SW team members

  • Embedded/Automotive products test setup/issue(ICT and FCT) follow up if CM has any issues for Diag package and FTP document

What we need to see:

  • BS or MS background in EE,CS, Automatic Control, Systems Engineering with 5+ years of related experience

  • Experience with MCU/FPGA program/debug would be a plus

  • Hands-on experience with lab tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters)

  • Deep knowledge of low-level software drivers and kernel

  • Ability to debug at board level and usage of probing hardware

  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively across different functional teams. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Experience in x86 assembly and knowledge of the PC architecture and power management

  • Familiarity in VB or Shell, JAVA, Perl, Python script programming

  • Your experience in test plan, failure processing, and test program development

  • Experience with running system level diagnostic tests and deeper understanding of the purpose of those tests

Requirements

5+ years of experience in EE, CS, Automatic Control, or Systems Engineering with hands-on manufacturing test background
Deep knowledge of low-level software drivers and kernel internals for embedded/automotive systems
Hands-on experience with lab hardware tools including oscilloscopes and multimeters for board-level debugging
Ability to design and implement test automation tools for data collection, test case execution, and results analysis
Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills to work with hardware, software, and operations teams
