Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned MERN Senior Backend Developer with 5+ years of experience to lead the development of our backend systems and Innovative solutions in the travel industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of JavaScript, MongoDB, React, OOPS, Express, MERN, Node, and REST API. Experience with additional technologies is a plus. As a senior developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our backend infrastructure, as well as collaborating with our frontend team to ensure seamless integration. Excellent communication skills are necessary to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend systems using MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node)

* Lead the development of RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with frontend applications

* Collaborate with frontend team to ensure API requirements are met and to troubleshoot issues

* Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned with the company's coding standards

* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and optimize system performance

* Communicate technical plans and progress to stakeholders, including project managers and other developers

* Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in backend development

Requirements:

* 5+ years of experience in backend development with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node)

* Strong proficiency in JavaScript, MongoDB, React, OOPS concepts or implementation of solutions in Java, Express, MERN, Node, and REST API

* Experience with additional technologies is a plus

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

* Experience working in a remote environment is a plus

Nice to Have:

* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure)

* Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks

* Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
