Remote Full Stack Senior PHP Developer ($2.5K–$3K Monthly)

For our customer we are looking for a Senior PHP Developer with at least 10 years of experience - 100% Remote

This role is Contract/Freelancer Position.

Monthly Salary: USD $2500 to USD $3000 - Depending on Experience

Description

As a Remote Senior PHP Developer you demonstrates a broad depth of domain understanding, with commercial experience in multiple aspects, platforms, and frameworks.

You will be the delivery powerhouse on projects where you will support leaders with decision making, especially around systems architecture.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analysis and update of the tech stack for the project.
• Adoption of best practices in different technologies and enforcing across project team.
• Demonstrate the highest design standards and ensuring the implementation in projects.
• Identifying and implementing automation in existing and new projects.
• Identify technical risks and guide team accordingly.
• Solutioning for integrations and extending existing solutions.
• Lead/mentor developers & also hands-on coding.
• Would work on Full stack projects development includes PHP Frameworks like Laravel/Laminas (LAMP), MERN stacks.
• Microservices implementation for highly scalable applications using Docker & Kubernetes on local & Cloud Environments (AWS is highly preferable).
• Expertise in REST/SOAP web API services, working knowledge on GraphQL is an added advantage.
• Would work on performance tuning and addressing security concerns including APIs and 3rd Party Systems.
• Help developers resolving any tech challenges (Coding, Performance, Security, etc.) towards completion of Jira tasks.
• Create version control branches, merge branches using GitLab/GitHub/Bitbucket.
• Create pull requests, review the pull requests created by developers in the team, provide review comments using markdown, compare the code differences, resolve merge conflicts using GitLab/GitHub/Bitbucket.
• Design and develop system design document for all aspects of the web site and migration for the content from existing system to new system.
• Develop and maintain technical specifications and documentation.
• Utilize best practices for version control, documentation, and software interoperability.
• Review the code (of developers) for logic, security, scalability, and performance.
• Do Coding (hands-on) for any critical requirement involve in MERN stacks.
• Demonstrate a good understanding of ACL, Sessions, Authentication & Authorization technologies.
• Have a good understanding of the deployment pipeline (Stage, UAT, Production) and deploy the changes across the different environments using CI/CD (Tools like Jenkins.,).
• Would work on Database design & maintenance (MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.).
• Would work on Agile, Kanban and/or Scrum style development.

Experience

• Must have at least 4 years’ experience on PHP Frameworks like Laravel/Laminas (LAMP), MERN Stacks.
• Expertise in Microservices implementation onsite or cloud environments.
• Full stack experience of at least 4 years.
• Proficient in setting up applications on AWS or Azure (AWS is highly preferable).
• Proficient in working with CDN like Cloudflare, CloudFront, Akamai, Fastly.
• Experience in the design and development of system architectures, including the definition of key capabilities and performance requirements.
• Experience in social media APIs - Facebook, Twitter, and Google APIs.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and related technologies (Hardware, Virtualization, Networking).

Qualification

• B.Sc., BCA, BCS, B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA and M.Sc in computer science with at least 70% aggregate score consistently.
• Excellent English Language Skills
