As an SDE-1 Backend Engineer, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers, writing scalable APIs using Node.js, managing data with MySQL, and deploying services on AWS. You'll be part of the engine that keeps our 20+ microservices running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express
- Write clean, well-structured REST APIs connected to MySQL databases
- Collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams to deliver complete features
- Deploy services on AWS and monitor them in production
- Learn to work with observability tools like Grafana, Tempo, and Loki
- Take part in code reviews, design discussions, and regular releases
- 1–2 years of hands-on backend development experience
- Strong foundation in Node.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and Express
- Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
- Familiarity with version control (Git), API testing tools (Postman), and basic DevOps
- Bonus: exposure to AWS, ClickHouse, or observability tools like Grafana
- Eagerness to learn, improve, and build systems that scale
- Learn from a senior team while working on real production systems
- Exposure to modern backend architecture, microservices, and cloud infrastructure
