The Opportunity

The Adobe Document Cloud organization is looking for a talented and highly motivated Software Engineer to help build and deliver our next-generation Adobe Acrobat Sign service.

Adobe Acrobat Sign is the fastest, easiest way to get contracts signed, tracked, and filed. Unlike virtual fax or e-signature software, Adobe Acrobat Sign offers an end-to-end solution by automating the entire contracting process from the request for signature to the distribution and filing of the executed agreement.

We are a dynamic software development team passionate about producing scalable and high-quality enterprise solutions.

You will be working on different technology stacks for front-end and back-end solutions of Adobe Acrobat Sign. You will have a rare opportunity to learn and grow integrating a team of experienced engineers.

What you'll do

  • Work hand-in-hand with, engineers, user experience designers and product managers to prototype and build a next-generation web application
  • Provide technical leadership to solve ambitious design problems to deliver best-in-class user experience
  • Design, deploy, and support secure, efficient, containerized software for Adobe Acrobat Sign
  • Design & develop key user-facing features, collaborating with the product and the design teams to work on the most optimized and delightful user experience.
  • Work with other Adobe teams to explore diverse technologies and embrace cross-team standards

What you need to succeed

  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 0-3 years of professional experience developing interactive web applications
  • Ability to work independently and strong communication skills within and across teams
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies quickly with a strong interest in full track development.
  • High proficiency in developing software solutions using web application client-tier technologies, including HTML and typescript/JavaScript, ReactJS,/Web components and React Native
  • Strong knowledge of server-side Java/J2EE technologies, including Spring, NodeJS, Hibernate, JSP, JNDI, JDBC, JMS, Servlets, and XML
  • Ability to perform independently in a hybrid work environment supported by competent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with microservices infrastructure (e.g. Docker, Container Orchestration [ideally Kubernetes]), Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $114,100 -- $214,950 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

 

In California, the pay range for this position is $148,500 - $214,950

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.

Requirements

0–3 years of professional experience building interactive web applications with React/TypeScript and Java/Spring backends
High proficiency in client-side technologies including HTML, TypeScript/JavaScript, ReactJS, Web Components, and React Native
Strong knowledge of server-side Java/J2EE stack including Spring, Hibernate, NodeJS, JSP, JMS, and Servlets
Experience with containerized microservices infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes on AWS or Azure
