The ITSM Engineering team within the Digital Enterprise Technology (DET) organization is looking for a full-stack Member of Technical Staff (MTS) to join our development team. Our team is dedicated to delivering Salesforce on Salesforce solutions to drive and promote innovation, enhance the productivity of IT within Salesforce, and empower employees globally. We act as "Customer Zero," demonstrating what is possible with Salesforce technology at scale by leading business outcomes that fuel growth.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, maintainable code and take ownership of the development lifecycle, including writing high-quality solutions, and performing rigorous code reviews

  • Contribute to the design, development and testing of our internal IT Salesforce implementation, utilizing Agentforce IT Service, Service Cloud, and Data 360

  • Design and implement ITSM business processes leveraging the Salesforce AITS platform

  • You will build, enhance, monitor and maintain necessary test automation infrastructure to support this effort

  • You will evaluate the performance of Agentic IT solutions, and ensure defined quality standards are met

  • Collaborate with development scrum teams, product management, and other interconnected IT groups to optimize the end-to-end process including monitoring, deployment, and support of our services and applications

  • Contribute to the creation of user stories and help organize work so it can be forecasted and delivered effectively within the Agile lifecycle.

  • Maintain and update system and solution documentation and Salesforce policies/procedures

  • Maintain and demonstrate 100% compliance with all written security policies, SOX procedures, and change management controls

 

Required Skills:

  • 5-7 years experience developing and supporting Salesforce platform implementations aligned to a Service or IT business unit 

  • A related technical degree required

  • Strong working knowledge of APEX (classes, triggers, and web services), Flows, Salesforce APIs, JSON, REST API’s, SOAP, SOQL, LWC, Salesforce platform, Communities

  • Hands-on experience with Service Cloud implementation(s) and common Salesforce objects and features such as Case, Entitlements, Knowledge, Field Service, Omni-Channel, Messaging, Voice, Analytics, Slack, and Service Portals

  • Strong understanding of Source Control Management systems (ex. Git, Bitbucket), and modern CI/CD practices

  • Proficient in writing clear and concise technical documentation

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detail, and the ability to provide technical documentation, communicate status and risk to stakeholders

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum and the ability to estimate, design, build, unit test and deploy Salesforce solutions

  • Solid understanding of object oriented programming principles, and practices of software deployment implementations, including design patterns, release management, deployment strategies, and testing best practices


 

Desired Skills:

  • Master's degree in relevant business or technical discipline

  • Must be certified with Certified Platform Developer I, Platform App Builder and  Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator

  • Experience working with Agentforce applications, and Agentforce implementation(s)

  • Experience working with Slack and Slack Integrations

  • Experience working with MuleSoft and Data 360

  • Good knowledge of ITIL Service concepts including Incident and Problem Management

  • Strong understanding of proper AI utilization, and concepts such as MCP

  • DevOps experience in deployment pipeline automation and configuration

  • Participate in product and feature design with technical staff members, business systems analysts and product managers

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $117,200 - $176,700 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $141,200 - $194,200 annually. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
